Oscar Piastri, the Australian Formula 1 driver with three World Championships under his belt, is auctioning a special helmet he will wear at the 2024 Monaco Grand Prix to pay homage to Ayrton Senna. This unique helmet, adorned in Senna’s iconic style and signed by him, is now available for bidding on F1 Authentics.
Piastri’s recent outstanding performance at Monaco, finishing second, held a special significance as Senna, recognized for six wins at the track, had a strong connection to the location.
The auction, hosted on F1 Authentics, known for official F1 memorabilia and managed by UK-based Memento Exclusives, will run from June 10, 2020, to June 27, 2024.
Oscar Piastri shared, “Competing in Monaco with a Senna-inspired helmet was an honor. It was great racing in the colors of a legend who triumphed six times at this legendary track.”

Proceeds from the helmet auction will support the Instituto Ayrton Senna, a charity founded by Senna’s family in 1994 to educate children in Brazil, continuing Senna’s legacy of nurturing potentials.
Barry Gough, expressing pride in facilitating this charitable initiative, noted, “Auctioning Oscar Piastri’s helmet for this incredible cause is something we’re honored to support.”
As of now, the highest bid for the helmet stands at £17,000.00, with two total bids. However, it is expected that the final auction price will surpass this amount.
