A dog owner, deeply concerned for her pet’s well-being, hurried to the veterinarian to figure out why her pup wasn’t eating or walking. After spending $400, she received an unexpected diagnosis.
Sam McGuire was taken aback to find her one-year-old pitbull, Mabel, unable to walk. Panic set in as Mabel also refused to eat, prompting McGuire to call the vet frantically.
The vet conducted X-rays and tests to uncover the issue. McGuire, fearing the worst, was emotional when she received the results – Mabel’s behavior was a reaction to stomach pain.
McGuire shared her vet bill on her TikTok account @sfmcguire on May 22 with the caption: “I’m saying the same thing but Goddamn.”
She was ready to pay any amount for her dog’s well-being and felt the vet fee was reasonable, saying, “I was upset by her dramatic behavior but not by the vet. It’s a fair price.”
