California’s Lemon Rolls-Royce Steals the Spotlight!

Rolls-Royce has unveiled an exciting new addition to its bespoke lineup with the launch of the Rolls-Royce Spectre Semaphore. This model aims to capture the essence of modern luxury, appealing to a younger, bolder clientele, as stated in their latest press release.

Through the Rolls-Royce Bespoke division, customers have the unique opportunity to tailor their vehicles to their personal tastes. Global studio spaces are available for clients to collaborate with Rolls-Royce specialists, ensuring a premium vehicle tailored to their specifications.

The vibrant “Bespoke Semaphore Yellow” paint lends the model its name, adorned with a distinctive hood artwork that draws inspiration from the scenic California coast where it will make its debut.

Created by skilled artisans at Goodwood, West Sussex, the “Marbled Paint Spill” hood design incorporates silver lacquer and multiple clearcoat layers for a dazzling finish. Crafting this artwork took an impressive 160 hours from concept to completion.

The yellow theme continues inside, featuring two distinct shades—Bespoke Lemon Bright and Citrine Yellow—used in the seats and the elegant Starlight doors. These vibrant colors are balanced with Grace White and Slate Gray elements, complemented by Lemon Yellow stitching and high-gloss wooden trims infused with silver mica flakes.

The exclusive model also comes equipped with Rolls-Royce’s advanced Spirit operating system, which allows synchronization of the on-screen dials’ colors with the interior palette.

The public will get their first look at the model at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering, happening next week. Prior to its debut, dealers and selected clients will have an exclusive preview event on the West Coast.

While this model was not commissioned by any particular client, Rolls-Royce is confident that the bespoke electric vehicle, priced around half a million dollars, will find a buyer shortly.

Historically, Rolls-Royce has showcased eye-catching models during Monterey Car Week, including a rose-themed Bespoke car last year, which was specifically created for a client.

In recent years, at prestigious events like Concorso Eleganza Villa d’Este, Rolls-Royce has revealed several extraordinary commissions, such as the stunning Sweptail and Boat Tail, each valued at an eye-watering $10 million or more.
