Blake Shelton has always embraced his down-to-earth personality, which has significantly contributed to his enduring popularity. In a recent episode of The Pat McAfee Show, aired on September 19, the 48-year-old country star shared how his relatability is central to his success.
“I’m a country singer,” Shelton remarked. “We don’t have to be in shape; we’re meant to be relatable.”
During the interview, Shelton humorously noted that one of his physical traits has actually proven to be financially beneficial. “My man boobs are worth a lot of money,” he quipped, causing the crew to laugh. “My fans see me and think, ‘It’s okay to have these man boobs.’”
As reported by Parade, Shelton boasts an estimated net worth of $130 million and was named People‘s Sexiest Man Alive in 2017.
In 2021, Shelton married fellow singer Gwen Stefani and embraced his role as a stepfather to her three children—Kingston (18), Zuma (16), and Apollo (10). Just this past July, he cheered on Zuma during a performance at an Oklahoma bar.
Reflecting on his stepdad journey in an interview with Good Morning America, Shelton shared how fatherhood has taught him to be more selfless. “I quickly realized that it’s not about you anymore when you have kids… if you’re doing it right, that’s true,” he explained.
