Fans couldn’t stop buzzing about Swift’s outfit, which featured a chic matching denim set and a standout pair of thigh-high cherry red boots. While some fans simply adored the eye-catching footwear, others speculated if the boots were a clever reference — an Easter egg, if you will.

Swifties quickly took to X (formerly Twitter) to compare her game-day boots to the ones she showcased in her “Look What You Made Me Do” music video. This song was the lead single from her 2017 album, Reputation, which fans have long speculated will be her next re-release.
“Here we go again,” one fan said, sharing a side-by-side of Swift at the game and in the video, noting the striking similarity, although the music video boots appeared shinier.
Fan theories started rolling in.
