The controversies surrounding Sean “Diddy” Combs keep escalating, especially after over 120 additional accusers have emerged, including minors. In the wake of these serious allegations, some old footage featuring Diddy is being revisited.
A notable clip recently reexamined comes from Justin Bieber’s YouTube channel, posted in November 2009. Back then, a 15-year-old Bieber excitedly shared, “I told you guys I produced a song for DIDDY and I wanted to show it to him!” accompanying a video of his weekend with the music mogul.
Titled “JUSTIN BIEBER’s 48 HRS with DIDDY!!,” the video showcases Diddy introducing Bieber to a luxury car he’d be able to drive once he turned 16. The Bad Boy mogul teased the teen, saying, “When you get 18, you get the house, you get the mansion.”
Diddy explained their hangout, humorously noting he had “custody” of Bieber for 48 hours. He compared their time together to the movie 48 Hrs, while hinting at the fun adventures they had without giving away too many details.
Quipping that he’s not Justin’s legal guardian, Diddy made clear, “for the next 48 hours, [Justin’s] with me,” suggesting they’d have a crazy time together. When Bieber cheekily suggested, “Let’s go get some girls,” Diddy responded with enthusiasm, “Man after my heart.”
This interaction is one of many that have resurfaced recently as Diddy faces grave accusations, including charges of sex trafficking and racketeering. Currently sitting in jail awaiting trial, Diddy has denied all misconduct claims. Interestingly, a throwback from 2011 featuring Diddy and a then-17-year-old Bieber also made its way back online, where Diddy joked about Bieber borrowing his Lamborghini.
As Diddy prepares for his day in court, Bieber, who recently became a father, has yet to publicly comment on the accusations against his former mentor.
