Jennifer Aniston’s Ex-Husband Surprises Fans with a Shout-Out and a Fun Nickname

Justin Theroux has shown that friendships can thrive even post-breakup.

The actor recently shared an adorable Instagram Story featuring his rescue dog, Kuma, along with a thoughtful gift he received from his ex-wife, Jennifer Aniston. In the post from October 2, Theroux expressed his thanks to Aniston, playfully calling her “Auntie Jen,” while showcasing Aniston’s debut picture book, Clydeo Takes a Bite Out of Life.

The book, announced earlier this year by the 55-year-old actress, is designed to benefit The Clydeo Fund, which helps rescue dogs find loving homes and receive vital rehabilitation.

Theroux, who adopted Kuma in 2018, first crossed paths with Aniston in 2011 on the set of Wanderlust. They ignited a romance in 2012, got engaged later that year, and married in a private ceremony in 2015. However, they announced their separation in 2018, stating, “This decision was mutual and lovingly made… but we look forward to continuing our cherished friendship.”

Despite their split, the duo has maintained a strong bond and regularly supports one another. Theroux has voiced his protective feelings for Aniston, especially in light of recent controversy about her response to comments made by Republican Vice Presidential candidate JD Vance.

Meanwhile, Theroux is now engaged to model Nicole Bloom, who is 23 years younger than him. Bloom recently made headlines at the Venice International Film Festival when she was spotted wearing an engagement ring, which People later confirmed.
