Justin Bieber has a long-standing history with Sean “Diddy” Combs, but recent serious allegations against the music mogul have prompted Bieber to distance himself. According to an insider for Us Weekly, the 30-year-old pop star is keen on protecting his own well-being amidst the fallout from the federal sex crimes charges against Diddy.
The source noted, “Justin wants to protect himself,” indicating that he has received advice to steer clear of any association with Diddy. “He has been told to stay as far away as possible,” they added.
In addition to this situation, another source shared that it’s been mentally tough for Bieber, especially since he recently became a father. “Justin is in a hard place mentally right now,” they revealed, explaining that coming to grips with the allegations against Diddy, whom he has known since he was 15, is challenging. “It’s been hard to process,” the insider stated.
However, being a father to his newborn son, Jack Blues, born in August, brings Justin joy and balance. He is “thrilled” to embrace fatherhood, something he has wanted for years, and it reportedly brings him more happiness than the anxiety created by Diddy’s current situation.
The scrutiny surrounding Diddy has intensified, especially with Old footage from 2009 of the pair spending time together resurfacing. In the clip, Diddy, now 54, made cryptic remarks about having “custody” of Justin at the time, while a 2011 interview with Jimmy Kimmel highlighted Diddy’s advice for Bieber to keep their time together private.
Diddy is currently facing serious allegations, including sex trafficking and racketeering, as new lawsuits from additional victims emerge. Despite the gravity of the charges, Diddy denies all claims and plans to defend himself in court, as stated by his attorney.
