Travis Kelce, known for his skills on the field, captured hearts off the field too at the Kansas City Chiefs training camp.
During the camp, Kelce noticed a young fan wearing a Taylor Swift Chiefs shirt on the sidelines on July 26. He then decided to make her day special in a heartwarming way.
A user on X (formerly Twitter) shared, “Travis saw my niece in a Taylor Swift Chiefs shirt, threw his glove, missed, pointed at her, and threw again. I was ecstatic. Clyde Edwards-Helaire signed the boys’ stuff. Kelce and Clyde, thank you for making training camp so fun!” The user later added how sweaty the glove was that it soaked through his brother’s pocket.
Kelce, who had returned to Kansas City for the Chiefs training camp after accompanying Swift on her European tour, warmly greeted fans as he arrived. “Thanks for coming out today, guys,” he said, showing his appreciation for the supporters.
Prior to the camp, Kelce had been supporting his girlfriend during the European leg of her Eras Tour. The couple was seen sharing a sweet moment after her performance in Gelsenkirchen, Germany, with Kelce wrapping his arm around Swift. During his offseason, the 34-year-old Kelce attended 14 of Swift’s shows, even making a stage appearance with her at London’s Wembley Stadium in June.
Speculation arose among fans during Swift’s show in Gelsenkirchen regarding a possible engagement between the 14-time Grammy winner, Swift, and Kelce. Swift performed a mashup of “Stay, Stay, Stay” and “Paper Rings,” sparking speculation about a potential engagement. Fans on X commented, “SHE JUST PROPOSED TO TRAVIS KELCE ON STAGE.” Another fan added, “They are so engaged, right? I mean, it’s a done deal at this point.”
