A resurfaced video featuring Justin Bieber and Sean “Diddy” Combs has gained considerable attention following Diddy’s recent arrest on serious charges, including racketeering and sex trafficking.
The clip, recorded in 2021, shows Diddy, now 54, embracing a younger Bieber, who is currently 30. Diddy can be seen patting Bieber’s shirt while whispering something unintelligible. Initially light-hearted, the interaction now appears unsettling in light of the charges against Diddy, with the two sharing a last hug before parting.

Social media users are reacting to this new context, with comments ranging from suspicion about Diddy’s intentions towards Bieber to concerns about Bieber’s apparent discomfort. One TikTok user suggested Diddy was “feeling him out” for any hidden recording devices, while others expressed sympathy for Bieber, calling the moment a sign of “textbook trauma bonding.”
Diddy and Bieber first crossed paths in 2009 through Usher, who was also a mentee of Diddy. Diddy was arrested on September 16 and is currently detained at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. He has pleaded not guilty and is set to testify in court on May 5, 2025.
As for Bieber, he has chosen not to comment on Diddy’s arrest, with sources indicating he wishes to distance himself from his former mentor and concentrate on his family’s well-being during this challenging time.
