Roan, known for her hit song “Pink Pony Club,” caught attention with her remarks during a The Guardian interview published on September 20. She refrained from endorsing any candidate, including the Democratic nominee Kamala Harris, stating that “there are problems on both sides” and encouraging voters to think critically.

Some fans interpreted her neutrality as a possible endorsement of Republican nominee Donald Trump, prompting Roan to clarify on TikTok that she does not support Trump. However, her comments led to further discussions across social media.
Indica, who has been a fan of Roan since 2020, noted, “Many agree with her, but others misinterpret her words.” Her admiration for Roan comes not just from her music but also from her authenticity and refusal to conform.
As a first-time voter, Indica shares that Roan’s videos solidified her decision for whom to vote on November 5. “Seeing her passion inspired me to engage locally and address issues in my community,” she adds. “It’s essential to support local representatives who genuinely care.”
