Cole Emhoff, Kamala Harris’ stepson, recently celebrated his 30th birthday with a fun-filled party.
Earlier this month, the milestone was marked by a gathering hosted by his mother, Kerstin Emhoff, who shared glimpses of the celebration via Instagram.
In her post, Cole was spotted in a lively venue decorated with neon lights, wearing a dark shirt paired with a 30th birthday sash and holding a cutout of his own face, radiating joy.
Kerstin expressed her pride in a heartfelt caption: “This is 30! Cole kicked off his third decade singing with Mom, Wife, and friends. I can’t believe my first born is 30! But what an amazing man he is, all of his parents are so proud of him.”
She concluded her message with love, saying, “Love you baby.”
Kerstin was married to Doug Emhoff from 1992 until 2008, and together they have a daughter, Ella, aged 25, in addition to Cole.
Doug Emhoff tied the knot with Kamala Harris in 2014, and he maintains a good relationship with his ex-wife.
This past summer, Kerstin commented on an old video where Trump’s running mate called women, including Harris, “childless cat ladies.” She defended Harris, stating to CNN, “These are baseless attacks. For over 10 years, Kamala has been a co-parent with Doug and I. She is loving, nurturing, fiercely protective, and always present. I love our blended family and am grateful to have her in it.”
Ella chimed in as well, saying on her Instagram Story, “How can you be ‘childless’ when you have cutie pie kids like Cole and I? I love my three parents.”
Kamala Harris often refers to herself as “Momala” to Cole and Ella. She has shared fond moments with them on Instagram, expressing her gratitude for being their stepmom.
In a personal essay for Elle in 2019, she highlighted, “They are brilliant, talented, funny kids who have grown to be remarkable adults. I was already hooked on Doug, but I believe it was Cole and Ella who reeled me in.”
Last year, Harris officiated Cole’s wedding to Greenley Littlejohn, marking another significant moment in their blended family.
