Jon Voight, the acclaimed actor and father of Angelina Jolie, recently shared a video criticizing Vice President Kamala Harris and reiterating his staunch support for Donald Trump. He labeled the current election cycle as “the war of our lifetime.”
Voight has consistently backed Trump, especially leading up to the 2024 election. His comments came after President Joe Biden announced he wouldn’t seek reelection, amid growing concerns regarding his age and fitness for office.
In his video posted on X (formerly Twitter), which was viewed over 157,000 times, Voight warned that the nation would be in trouble if Harris wins. He urged viewers to “stop this crime that is happening” in politics.
Addressing viewers against a backdrop of an American flag, Voight strongly condemned what he called a “war crime” directed by former President Obama, with Harris as a mere echo of his views. He expressed a deep concern for America’s future, saying, “We must all see this truth… Donald Trump will make any sacrifice to save America.” He emphasized that Trump is “for the people,” not for power or greed.
Voight further claimed that the left is trying to influence children with ideas around non-binary identities, sparking his critique of liberal ideologies. He posed a rhetorical question to his peers on the left about the lessons they’ve learned in life, suggesting that voting against Trump is a grave mistake that could lead to dire consequences for the nation.

He warned of rising crime rates and a deteriorating economy due to what he perceives as a reckless border policy aligned with liberal ideologies. Voight concluded his message by expressing hope that both God and Trump will unite the country again, stating, “God bless America and he will protect our nation against this evil left.” He ended on a hopeful note, expressing love and support for Trump, whom he believes will restore America’s greatness.
This isn’t Voight’s first endorsement of Trump; he has been vocal about his support since the 2016 election. He anticipates that Trump will return to the White House, fueling his belief that a change is on the horizon. “A new light will emerge,” he stated, reaffirming his confidence in Trump’s leadership.
In previous statements, Voight has warned about global threats and the importance of voting for truth and safety, reiterating his disdain for current political leaders he believes contribute to societal decline.
