Claudia Conway, daughter of former Trump adviser Kellyanne Conway, has openly shown her support for Vice President Kamala Harris as the November election approaches.
Despite Kellyanne’s role as Senior Counselor during Donald Trump’s presidency from 2017 to 2020, Claudia and her father, George Conway—a Lincoln Project co-founder—have been vocal critics of Trump, emerging prominently in 2020.
Claudia has repeatedly expressed her opposition to Trump and various conservative agendas, even amid challenging times with her mother. Recently, she shared a photo of herself with her father at the Democratic National Convention, which quickly went viral.
“MAGA’s most-hated,” she captioned the post, showcasing her and her father wearing badges that read “Kamala” with the DNC stage in the background. The post garnered over 1.1 million views.
On the same day, Harris surprised attendees with an appearance and brief remarks, confirming her acceptance of the Democratic nomination in an upcoming speech.
Reactions to Claudia’s post were mostly positive; one user wrote: “Well, MAGAs can hate, but we love you two. Claudia is gorgeous. Enjoy your time at the DNC.”
Another said, “MAGA’s most-hated means you’re terrific in my book!!” said another.
Yet, not everyone was supportive. One comment read, “I am sorry for you. You should listen to your mom,” while another stated, “We don’t hate you. We want to get your father the mental health treatment he so clearly needs.”
Claudia frequently shares her political views. In July, she criticized Trump, labeling him a “fake Republican.” She expressed, “Trump has completely destroyed and reframed the ideals of the Republican party,” adding that many Republicans now endorse Harris.
She also reflected on the disconnect between current GOP ideals and her upbringing, saying, “When I think of the ideals I was taught by my parents, I see no parallels with Trump or Vance’s agenda.”
Additionally, Claudia took aim at her mother’s support for JD Vance. Responding to Kellyanne’s endorsement, Claudia said, “Major yikes” to Vance’s comments on marriage.
