MrBeast has responded to criticism following the launch of Lunchly, a new lunch product aimed at kids, created in collaboration with fellow YouTubers Logan Paul and KSI. Many people have questioned the nutritional value of Lunchly, a so-called “healthier” alternative to Lunchables.
Lunchly combines three meal options—”The Pizza,” Turkey Stack ‘Ems, or Fiesta Nachos—along with a low-sugar Prime Hydration drink and a Feastables chocolate bar. Paul touted the meals as a “healthier alternative” to Lunchables, while MrBeast expressed a desire to “disrupt the lunch market for kids” by providing better meal choices.
Despite their intentions, the trio has faced backlash online, with many labeling their product as unhealthy. Critics have expressed disappointment, claiming that they are simply capitalizing on their audience’s trust.
In response to the outcry, MrBeast defended Lunchly by highlighting its nutritional advantages. He pointed out that their turkey meal contains 80 fewer calories and significantly less sugar compared to similar Lunchables products. He argued that while fresh meals are ideal, providing a higher-quality, convenient option is a positive step.
Lunchables sells hundreds of millions of units and countless people eat it. Our goal is to give people a better for you alternative to it…

However, some pointed out that earlier promises of healthier products, like Feastables chocolates, were not met when recipes became reformulated. So, while Lunchly products might have reduced sugar and calories compared to Lunchables, they still fall under the umbrella of processed foods.
Dietitian Amy Keating raised concerns about the nutritional quality of such products, emphasizing that highly processed foods have been linked to various health risks, including obesity and heart disease.
Class Action Lawsuit
In addition to the criticism over Lunchly, MrBeast faces a class action lawsuit regarding his reality show, Beast Games. Participants allege multiple labor law violations, including emotional distress and unsafe working conditions during the filming of the competition. The case involves claims of mistreatment and lack of essential care during the event.
One of the plaintiffs expressed a sense of betrayal, stating she expected a fun, challenging experience but was met with disrespect and a hostile environment instead. As the lawsuit develops, MrBeast’s latest venture may add more scrutiny to his brand.
