Princess Kate Releases New Birthday Photo of Prince George

Princess Kate and Prince William have shared a heartwarming new portrait to celebrate their son Prince George’s 11th birthday.

The young royal, who is second in line to the British throne, recently turned 11 and has been making notable public appearances. To mark the occasion, Kate took a photo of George looking sharp in a suit and white shirt, sans tie.

The Kensington Palace social media accounts posted the picture with a sweet message, “Wishing Prince George a very happy 11th birthday today!📸 The Princess of Wales, 2024.”

While the Wales family dealt with Kate’s health challenges, George and his siblings Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6, stayed mostly out of the public eye. They made their first official appearance in 2024 at the Trooping the Colour event with their parents.

George has also been seen at soccer matches with Prince William. He attended games of their favorite team Aston Villa, the FA Cup Final, and recently traveled to Berlin for the UEFA Euros final where he and William were seen alongside members of the Spanish royal family.

During King Charles III’s coronation in May 2023, George played a historic role. The new king appointed him as one of the official Pages of Honour, who walked through Westminster Abbey carrying the king’s robes. They later appeared on the Buckingham Palace balcony and posed for an official portrait in the palace throne room.

Since 2022, George has been attending Lambrook School near Windsor with Charlotte and Louis. His future schooling choices, including a possible boarding school like Eton College, are already sparking curiosity in Britain.
