In a delightful TikTok moment, Princess Charlotte charmed viewers with her attempt at conducting an orchestra, which had Prince George in stitches. The siblings shared this amusing experience while visiting Cardiff Castle in Wales as part of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations in 2022.
Accompanied by their parents, Prince William and Kate Middleton, the family met the performers who were preparing for a special concert to celebrate Queen Elizabeth II’s remarkable 70-year reign. Everyone had a turn at conducting, starting with William, followed by Kate, who humorously tried to reign in the tempo of “Sweet Caroline.” Then it was Charlotte’s turn.
A TikTok clip showcasing the siblings’ adorable exchange went viral, attracting nearly 10,000 likes and over 65,000 views. In the video, Princess Charlotte’s hesitant conducting quickly turned into laughter after she caught George’s eye, sparking a giggle fit between them.
The post, featuring the siblings having a blast, garnered many sweet comments, with one user exclaiming, “This is so cute!!” while another chimed in, “They are the cutest siblings.”
The main jubilee concert, the Platinum Party at the Palace, occurred on June 4 in London, while another celebration took place simultaneously at Cardiff Castle. During this trip, William, Kate, Charlotte, and George attended rehearsals for the Welsh event, while King Charles III and Queen Camilla prepared for the London festivities.
This year has been quite challenging for Charlotte and George, as their mother, Kate, underwent significant abdominal surgery in January and faced a cancer diagnosis later. She started chemotherapy in late February and announced in early September that she had completed her treatment and was focused on maintaining her health.
Since then, Kate has been working from home and has attended a few meetings from Windsor, including one with a teenage photographer battling cancer. However, she has not returned to her full duties or public engagements just yet.
