Dog owners know their pets have a unique way of showing love, and this is perfectly illustrated by Sandra, a 30-year-old woman with five charming Pomeranians.
These tiny pooches bring a lot of joy to her life, though they seem a bit less attached to her partner Andre, 31. In a funny video shared on Instagram by @missyminzi, the duo is seen lounging on the couch with their five dogs nestled between them. First, Andre steps out of the room, and the furry crew hardly reacts. But as soon as Sandra stands up, they jump up and follow her like shadows.
Captioned “Who is the spare human in your family? Mom or dad?”, the video went viral, racking up 5.8 million views within just 48 hours.
While the video showcases heartwarming moments, viewers couldn’t help but chuckle at one little guy with a darker coat struggling to get off the couch, unlike his lighter-colored buddies.
This adorable pup, Murphy, is a four-year-old who was adopted after being found in a wheelchair due to a congenital condition called cerebellar hypoplasia. According to the American Kennel Club, this condition affects the cerebellum, resulting in balance and coordination challenges.
One observer noted, “The last one was like, ‘wait, don’t leave me here with him,'” while another joked, “That doggy fighting for dear life to get out of the sofa.”
Experts say the way dogs behave around their owners, like wanting to stay close or making eye contact, shows their comfort and affection. According to Horniman, “This behavior indicates that your dog feels secure in your presence and prefers being around you rather than alone.”
- They wiggle at you
- They maintain eye contact
- They nuzzle against you
- They prefer to sleep near you
Building a strong bond with your pet involves lots of positive experiences like playing, walking, feeding, and of course, sharing love and affection.
