Woman Finds Lost Phone, Reveals Funny Videos by Good Samaritans Who Found It

When a woman misplaced her phone at a music festival, she was pleasantly surprised to discover amusing videos recorded by two strangers who found it.

Thirty-six-year-old Ashleigh Fraser from Luton, U.K., had lost her phone at BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend Festival in Luton on May 24. After losing her friends in the crowd, she approached a friendly couple, Will Staples and Millie Owens, both students, and asked to join them on the grass.

Fraser later realized she had left her phone behind when she hurried off to meet her friends. She only noticed it was missing later on. “It was a new phone that my partner had just gifted me a week ago (iPhone 15 Pro Max), so I was pretty upset about it,” Fraser shared.

“I know it’s just a phone, but it contains everything like photos, memories, bank cards, so losing it was really inconvenient,” Fraser lamented.

Desperately trying to call her number from others’ phones, she assumed someone had switched it off. However, the phone eventually started ringing.

She explained, “Will answered the call and directed me to their location in the park. I was ecstatic to have my phone back, thanks to these incredible people who held onto it for over an hour. I felt incredibly fortunate that it was these kind-hearted individuals who found it; it’s rare to encounter such genuine people these days, and they restored my faith in humanity.”

After the festival, Fraser stumbled upon the amusing videos captured by the couple while taking care of her phone. She shared the clips on TikTok to locate the couple who had saved her day. The post received over 502,000 views and 26,000 likes.

In the video, Staples mentioned, “You were trying to find your friends and lost your phone.”

Owens chimed in, “We’ll hand it over to lost property for you and hope you’ve had a great time.”

They assured they would try to find her first before going to lost property. Owens blew a kiss to the camera, promising to return Fraser’s phone.

In a second clip, Staples humorously stated that they had been waiting for Fraser for 45 minutes, urging her to collect her phone, jokingly threatening to keep it if she didn’t. Owens complimented Fraser, expressing hope that she would retrieve her phone.

Through social media, Fraser managed to reconnect with the couple and expressed her gratitude once more.

“I messaged them immediately to thank them for being the most genuine couple I’ve ever met! They were fantastic; they held onto my phone, made videos for me, and ensured its safe return.

“I’m relieved it was Will and Millie who found it, or I may never have recovered it. They are absolute gems, and everyone should know how incredibly wonderful these two individuals are.”

Staples explained why he and Owens went the extra mile to return Fraser’s phone.

“We knew we wanted to return it because we hoped someone would do the same for us. We decided to have some fun and leave her some videos to watch the next day.

“After her phone rang, we picked up and went on a wild 10-minute search to reunite with her. Eventually, we found her, returned the phone, received a warm hug, and took a selfie together!”
