Charlotte Tilbury’s fans got pretty excited on Monday when an internal email went out accidentally, teasing a new “secret” product.
The email, intended for Jonathan Reynolds and his team, spilled clinical trial results for an upcoming product, prompting fans to suspect it was a clever marketing move before the product launch.
Marketing pro Maya Bundy from Liverpool, shared her amazement on TikTok, admitting even she fell for the tactic despite her background. She commented, “I work in marketing, but hey, it got me.”
Accidentally sent to customers, the email hinted at a mysterious upcoming product in the works.
Bundy cleverly used the video’s popularity to share a waiting list secret for early product access, saying, “It’s smart. They tease you with the product details and leave you wanting more.”
While fans speculate on the new offering, it’s expected to be a skincare/makeup combo called “Unreal Skin,” known for instant plumping and firming effects.
Admitting the tactic worked on her, Bundy remarked, “Charlotte Tilbury sends me numerous emails, but this one stood out. It definitely got me to open it.”
Even though the brand has dropped some teasers on social media, it seems we’ll have to sit tight a bit longer for the big reveal.
