Alright, folks, let’s talk about the interesting connection between Taylor Swift and the Kansas City Chiefs that has everyone buzzing, including the team’s top honcho, CEO Clark Hunt.
Recently, at an Athletes in Action event in Ohio on June 15, Hunt couldn’t hide his excitement about the romance brewing between the team’s tight end, Travis Kelce, and the renowned singer. He hailed their relationship as a thrilling storyline that unfolded over the past year.
“Let me tell you, we are absolutely thrilled for Travis and Taylor. They make such a fantastic pair. My family has adored Taylor for ages, so it’s awesome to know she’s now a big Chiefs fan,” he enthusiastically shared at the event, a moment captured by a fan and making rounds on TikTok.

When asked about the impact of Swift’s association with the team on their finances, Hunt acknowledged it’s a bit tricky to quantify. Recalling a visit to the NFL headquarters after the pop star’s first Chiefs game attendance, Hunt revealed, “I have never seen the league’s marketing team that thrilled. They were practically dancing with joy. That, my friends, says it all,” the 59-year-old executive shared.
Fans were quick to express how Swift has influenced their NFL experience, with comments like, “Thanks to Taylor, I’m back into football and my dad couldn’t be happier!” and “Appreciate the respect and recognition for Taylor ❤️❤️.” A fan all the way from Australia shared their newfound love for the Chiefs, saying, “Taylor has turned people all over the globe into Chiefs fans. I’m from Down Under and never cared for American football, but now I’m hooked — not as wild as our Aussie rules though (oops).”
Swift’s involvement with the team didn’t stop at attending games; she also joined the Super Bowl LVIII ring ceremony virtually on June 13 from Liverpool, England, showing her dedicated fan status. Hunt reaffirmed Swift’s allegiance to the Chiefs Kingdom, mentioning, “Just this week, while she was in Liverpool, she stayed up until about 4 a.m. to join our ring ceremony via Instagram Live. She used ‘we’ in her social media post, showing she’s truly one of us.”
On the other hand, Kelce, 34, recently inked a two-year extension with the Chiefs, so it seems like Swift will be sticking around the stadium a bit longer.
