LeBron James and Son Bronny Facing Lawsuit Over 2022 Car Crash: Latest Report

LeBron James and his son Bronny are facing a lawsuit related to a 2022 car accident, according to TMZ. The suit was filed in Los Angeles by two individuals shortly before the duo made history by playing together in an NBA game.

April Almanza Lopez and Kiara Rae McGillen claim they were involved in a collision on November 13, 2022, with a vehicle driven by a member of the James family. They allege that they suffered injuries requiring ongoing medical treatment and assert that their car was damaged, resulting in diminished value. The plaintiffs are seeking damages from both LeBron and Bronny.

In a landmark moment for the NBA, LeBron and Bronny played together on Tuesday night, making them the first father-son duo to do so. Bronny stepped onto the court in the second quarter, logging just over two minutes of playtime, during which he recorded one rebound and missed both of his shot attempts.

On the other hand, LeBron, kicking off his 22nd season, delivered a strong performance with 16 points, five rebounds, four assists, and two blocks, helping the Lakers secure a 110-103 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Reflecting on the historic evening, LeBron expressed his gratitude, stating, “That moment, us being at the scorer’s table together and checking in together, is something I will never forget.” He added that regardless of how time may affect his memory, this experience will remain etched in his heart.

He also shared a heartfelt video on Instagram, highlighting the significance of that moment.

The Lakers are set to continue their season on Friday against the Phoenix Suns at the Crypto.com Arena, and fans are eager to see if Bronny will get more playtime.
