Bronny James might be LeBron’s son, but that doesn’t spare him from rookie responsibilities!
Just hours before the possibility of making history as the first father-son duo in the NBA, LeBron shared a playful video on social media where he hilariously hazes Bronny. In the clip, LeBron pours Fruity Pebbles into Bronny’s car, and when Bronny opens the door, cereal spills everywhere. LeBron cheekily reminds him, “Hey rook, better not be late,” before adding that Bronny should clean up the mess.

After being picked No. 55 overall in the 2024 NBA Draft, Bronny is set to potentially step onto the court with his dad on Tuesday night. LeBron, however, is taking a laid-back approach to the moment.
“Whenever it happens, it will happen,” LeBron said. “It’s been a treat just being able to help him understand what pro life is all about.”
Regardless of when Bronny takes the floor, LeBron is immensely proud of his son for making it to the NBA. After a year at USC and overcoming a serious cardiac scare during a practice in July 2023, Bronny’s journey to the pros has been remarkable.
“To see him play in a college game after coming back from heart surgery was incredible,” LeBron expressed. “It just proved nothing can stop him from achieving his dreams.”
