McGrady stated, “Team USA is in trouble next Olympics. I’m afraid that gold might be going somewhere else.” While he acknowledged the potential of emerging stars like Paolo Banchero and Cooper Flagg, he doesn’t see any clear leaders stepping up to match the legendary status of players like Steph Curry, Kevin Durant, and LeBron James.

As of now, the expected core for Team USA might include Devin Booker, Anthony Edwards, Jayson Tatum, and Anthony Davis. While they each bring unique talents to the team, can they really fill the shoes left by icons like James?
