Kamala Harris Takes a Jab at Trump with Video of His Rally’s Empty Seats

On Friday, Vice President Kamala Harris took a playful jab at former President Donald Trump, sharing a video of empty seats from his recent Montana rally.

The vice president, who is likely to be the Democratic nominee in the upcoming election, packed in a crowd of over 15,000 at her rally in Glendale, Arizona—the largest turnout of her campaign.

As Harris made her entrance in Arizona, her campaign posted footage of the electric crowd on X (formerly Twitter), racking up more than 1.5 million views by Saturday morning.

In contrast, a follow-up post showed Trump’s rally in Bozeman, Montana, where many seats were left unfilled. While his supporters were quiet, they were simply waiting for Trump to take the stage hours later. That video garnered over 1.7 million views as of Saturday morning.

When Trump finally spoke, his supporters behind him waved signs and cheered.

This isn’t the first time Harris’ camp has highlighted the crowd size disparity. Earlier this week, they shared side-by-side photos of Harris’ packed event in Philadelphia and a sparsely filled stadium from Trump’s June rally, also held at Temple University’s Liacouras Center.

Harris attracted approximately 14,000 attendees in Philadelphia, while Trump drew around 4,000 at his June event, as reported by the Daily Pennsylvanian.

In response to Harris’ crowd successes, Trump has claimed that the media gives her more favorable coverage, stating, “If Kamala has 1,000 people at a rally, the Press goes ‘crazy,’ and talks about how ‘big’ it was.” He went on to assert that his larger rallies are ignored by the media.

Throughout this election cycle, Trump has often boasted about his large crowds, although these claims are sometimes based more on speculation than facts.
