Kevin Spacey shared in an interview that he flew to Africa in 2002 with Jeffery Epstein, former President Bill Clinton, and a group of young girls.
During an episode of Piers Morgan’s show on YouTube, the 64-year-old actor, who has faced accusations of sexual misconduct, made this surprising disclosure. Although he denies being friends with Epstein, he acknowledged being on a flight with him, as revealed in an interview with Piers Morgan, a British journalist.
Background
Allegations of sexual misconduct against Spacey emerged in 2017 after actor Anthony Rapp accused Spacey of harassing him in 1986 when he was just 14. Subsequently, multiple men came forward with similar accusations, resulting in Spacey’s dismissal from the popular Netflix series House of Cards and other projects.
While Spacey denies all allegations, he was cleared of sexual assault charges by a U.K. court in 2023. The release of the documentary Spacey Unmasked reignited interest in the allegations.
During Epstein’s trial, the pilot testified that Spacey was on flights with Epstein alongside other celebrities.
Key Points
When Morgan questioned Spacey about his connections to Epstein, Bill Clinton, Prince Andrew, and Ghislaine Maxwell, Spacey explained that he met Epstein through Clinton, who invited him on a humanitarian trip to Africa focused on AIDS prevention in 2003. Despite being on the jet dubbed “Lolita Express,” Spacey firmly denied any association with Epstein.
Spacey highlighted his visit to Buckingham Palace with Clinton after the Africa trip, where they met Prince Andrew. Spacey recalled taking photos with Ghislaine Maxwell but emphasized he had never been friends with Epstein.
Refuting claims of friendship with Epstein, Spacey affirmed, “I did not know him, spent no time with him,” adding, “He is not my friend. I am not his confidant. I have never spent any time with him.”
