Kevin Spacey shared that King Charles III reached out to him with a supportive message during his dark days of facing sexual assault allegations. He expressed his gratitude for the gesture.
After dealing with multiple accusations and a court case that found him not guilty, Spacey opened up in an interview with Piers Morgan about his past behavior and being handsy.
During the conversation with Morgan, it was hinted that Spacey received support from the upper echelons of British society, including the Royal Family. Spacey confirmed Prince Charles’s active involvement with the Old Vic theater, where the Prince watched performances and supported the theater.
Spacey also acknowledged receiving indirect support from King Charles during his time of trouble through a message that he found comforting.
Despite the past controversies, Spacey appreciated the recognition he received when he was knighted by King George VI and awarded a CBE by Prince Charles in previous years.
Morgan then brought up Spacey’s visit to Buckingham Palace, where he clarified his limited interaction with Epstein and Maxwell, stating that he attended on the invitation of Bill Clinton after a humanitarian mission in Africa.
Spacey emphasized that he had no personal relationship with Epstein or Maxwell and categorically denied being associated with them.
