Good news for Tyler Boebert (19), son of Lauren Boebert, who hired a private attorney to handle felony theft charges. The judge overseeing the case was pleased.
In late February, Rifle Police Department reported that the son of Colorado Congresswoman, at 18, faced arrest for property thefts and vehicle trespass in Rifle. He’s up against 22 charges including felonies like “Criminal Use of ID Documents – Multiple Victims” and “Conspiracy for a Felony.”
With pleas pending, Tyler awaits his arraignment, dealing with a lawyer situation.
John F. Neiley, the overseeing judge, pushed for Tyler to find the right attorney, which he eventually did – William Trent Palmer.
Neiley shared the ‘good news’ on Thursday to extend the time for Tyler to prepare with Palmer.
Palmer, with over a decade of experience as a civil litigator, has a strong background in real estate and general litigation, including a stint as a clerk for the United States District Court of the Northern District of California.
Known for his legal prowess, Palmer has impressed judges like Denise Lynch, who praised his skills and winning track record.
While Tyler’s affordability for Palmer’s services remains uncertain, he voiced concerns about attorney costs during a court hearing.
Notably, Palmer offers pro bono services, easing financial burdens for some clients.
As Tyler navigates legal waters, he’s reminded of his responsibilities as a father and adult, facing the consequences like any citizen.
In a surprising turn, Bobert revealed to Tyler in 2023 that she was expecting his child when he was just 17.
