Several MAGA supporters are raising eyebrows over Vice President Kamala Harris’s accent during two speeches delivered on Labor Day in Detroit and Pittsburgh, just hours apart.
Trump War Room, an official campaign account, shared videos of Harris where she emphasized the importance of union members for sick leave and vacation time, leading to claims of her using different accents in each city.
One post on X, formerly known as Twitter, prompted followers to “spot the difference” in her speech delivery between the two locations.
Conservative commentator Greg Price weighed in, asserting that Harris’s speech reflected “two entirely different accents,” calling her the “fakest human being that has ever lived.”
Internet personality Dom Lucre also chimed in, suggesting that Harris adjusted her accent to resonate with Black audiences, comparing her delivery in Detroit to her more standard accent in Pittsburgh.
Trump campaign advisor Alex Bruesewitz also joined the fray, sharing clips that highlighted the differences in her pronunciation of “64 days” between Detroit and Pittsburgh.
This controversy follows recent comments from Donald Trump about Harris’s racial identity, questioning her authenticity. In response, Harris dismissed Trump’s remarks, stating they’ve become a “tired playbook.” She simply asked for the next question in a CNN interview.
