Mark Cuban Sets the Record Straight: No Donations to Kamala Harris’ Campaign

Mark Cuban, the billionaire entrepreneur, has refuted claims of financially backing Vice President Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign, despite his supportive remarks about her online.

On September 30, Cuban shared an article discussing his mixed feelings toward Donald Trump on X, formerly known as Twitter. A comment suggested Cuban was endorsing Harris due to some personal promises, stating that “Trump is our only hope.”

In his retort, Cuban clarified, “I’ve been promised one thing: that their team would consider my ideas. I haven’t contributed a cent to her campaign, PACs, or political organizations in over 20 years,” and humorously added: “$ 000000.0000000.”

Though he often supports Harris, Cuban has also been involved in heated exchanges with fellow billionaire Elon Musk, a Trump supporter.

When questioned about his enthusiasm for Harris, Cuban praised her qualities on X, calling her “honest, ethical, smart, open-minded, pro-business, and fair,” and expressed belief that she listens to the American people.

According to OpenSecrets.org, Cuban’s last campaign contribution was in 2002 when he donated $1,000 to Congresswoman Zoe Lofgren.

His past interactions with Trump include a humorous offer to donate $1 million to a charity of Trump’s choice if he would shave his head back in 2012.

Cuban recently cautioned Musk about remaining an ardent supporter of Trump, highlighting the business mogul’s history of self-serving loyalty. He warned, “There will come a time when you need something from him, and you may realize his loyalty is only to himself.”

On Fox News, Cuban even expressed interest in leading the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) if Harris were to win the presidency and he was offered a position in her administration.
