Mary Trump’s Dire Prediction as Kamala Harris Prepares to Choose Her VP

Mary Trump, the niece of former President Donald Trump, claims her uncle is facing his “worst nightmare” with the upcoming announcement of Vice President Kamala Harris’ running mate. In a recent statement, she expressed her concerns about how this choice could further impact Trump’s campaign.

Harris, who took over as the Democratic frontrunner after President Biden’s endorsement, is slated to reveal her vice presidential pick at a rally in Philadelphia on Tuesday. Speculation has centered on Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as potential candidates.

In a Substack post titled The Good in Us, Mary Trump criticized her uncle, labeling him as “racist” and hinting that his campaign could be harmed by the attention brought to Republican nominee Senator JD Vance, who has recently been under fire for various comments.

“Donald’s worst nightmare is coming true—the old, white, racist is being overshadowed by a young, strong Black woman,” she declared. “Vance has become a national punchline, and the excitement around Harris’ pick will only amplify after her announcement.”

Mary Trump believes that Harris’ choice will accelerate her campaign momentum and highlight the shortcomings of Vance, whom she labeled a “misogynist” in a previous post.

Looking ahead, Mary Trump warned that a Republican victory in November could lead to a dystopian future reminiscent of The Handmaid’s Tale, where women’s rights are severely curtailed under conservative leadership.

She has also commended Governor Walz for his straightforward attacks on Vance and Trump, suggesting that Vance’s eccentricities do not bode well for Trump’s campaign.

“Walz has a fantastic presence and tells it like it is,” she said during a livestream. “It’s hard to believe Trump needed a running mate who’s weirder than him!”
