At a candlelight vigil for her missing daughter, Barbara Clark shared her deep concerns regarding Suzanne Simpson’s fate. Suzanne, a 51-year-old realtor from San Antonio, vanished a week ago, and her mother expressed doubt that she is still alive.
Barbara, speaking with WOAI, revealed that she typically has regular contact with Suzanne, which makes her daughter’s silence all the more alarming. They last spoke on the night of Suzanne’s disappearance. Initially, Suzanne had asked Barbara to watch one of her four children while she attended a friend’s party. However, she later called back to say she had an argument with her husband, Brad, and would not be going out.
Barbara speculated that alcohol might have played a role in the escalating situation, as Suzanne mentioned physical altercations with her husband during their call. This was not the first argument the couple had experienced in their 22-year marriage. Barbara had even planned to invite Suzanne to move in with her to provide stability for her family.
Suzanne was reported missing on Monday by Brad after the couple returned home from a party. Witnesses indicated that they argued both at the event and outside their home. A neighbor, alarmed by the escalating fight, contacted the authorities after hearing them argue and seeing physical confrontation between the couple.
Details about Suzanne’s appearance have been released by the police: she is a white female, around 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing 140 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen wearing a black knee-length dress and black heels, though she might be barefoot.
