The ladies of The View weighed in on Donald Trump‘s mental state after his recent remarks at a rally in Las Vegas.
According to reports, Trump complained about the rally’s temperature, malfunctioning teleprompter, and even made a bizarre shark analogy. Referring to a scenario about being electrocuted or facing a shark, Trump said, “Every time, I will take the electrocution. I’m never going to get near a shark.”
Alyssa Griffin, one of the hosts, made a light-hearted comment likening Trump’s behavior to hers after having a few too many espresso martinis, though also acknowledging the seriousness of the situation.
Reflecting on Trump’s recent performance, Griffin remarked, “He was never particularly eloquent, and it’s hard to imagine him as he used to be. In 2016, he’s no longer William Shakespeare. But I can see a decline.” She mentioned that people close to Trump have also noticed this decline.
Discussing comparisons between Trump and Joe Biden‘s mental acuity, Griffin emphasized the need to recognize warning signs in both individuals.
Another host, Ana Navarro, shared insights on Trump’s behavior post the New York hush-money trial, suggesting that his recent actions warrant concern and evaluation for possible cognitive decline.
Whoopi Goldberg, known for her humor, quipped about Trump’s curious statements, jokingly pondering what he might be smoking.
Host Sunny Hostin highlighted recent polls showing a decline in Trump’s support among independents, with a significant shift towards Joe Biden’s favor.
