Great news for the Los Angeles Rams! They’re set to welcome back Pro Bowl wide receiver Cooper Kupp for their Thursday night showdown with the Minnesota Vikings. But Kupp isn’t the only star who could be making a comeback.
Puka Nacua, currently on injured reserve, has had his practice window activated this week and might also return for this crucial game. NFL insiders are optimistic about Nacua’s availability, which would be a significant boost for the Rams.

“There is positive momentum for Puka Nacua to play tonight,” said Tom Pelissero from NFL Network earlier today. “He may not see extensive action, likely not 70 snaps, as he’s had only one full practice. But he’s looked good and should continue to progress.”
“I genuinely believe Puka has a strong chance to play tonight,” echoed Albert Breer from Sports Illustrated on the Rich Eisen Show. “I expect he’ll take the field.”
Nacua is currently listed as questionable but has shown promising signs during practice. His potential return would be timely as the Rams face the 5-1 Vikings in a critical Thursday night match.
Nacua has been sidelined since Week 1 due to a knee injury, shortly followed by Kupp’s ankle injury, leaving the Rams without their top receiving duo. With a record of 2-4 but coming off a victory against the Las Vegas Raiders, the Rams are eager to capitalize on a potential boost from Kupp and Nacua.
Facing a formidable Vikings defense that has allowed only 17.8 points per game this season, which ranks them sixth in the NFL, the Rams know it will be a tough battle. However, having both Kupp and Nacua on the field could significantly improve their chances of an upset.
