Fans will have to hold off a bit longer for the kickoff of the 2024 NFL season as weather delays have set in.
As the Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens prepared to hit the field on Thursday night at Arrowhead Stadium, storms rolled in, forcing a postponement of the kickoff time.
Chiefs vs. Ravens: Updated Start Time
According to NBC’s coverage, the game is now slated to start at 5:40 p.m. PT/8:40 p.m. ET — a delay of about 20 minutes from the original schedule.
Players and coaches were evacuated from the field around 6:45 p.m. local time, well before the previous kickoff time. Fans were advised to head to the concourse due to the severe weather conditions.
