“Update on my baby boy. First and foremost, I want to thank GOD for protecting him. He is so lucky; the bullet went through his chest and out his back without causing any vital damage. He’s in good spirits. Life is precious, and I urge everyone to love each other. Please pray for my baby,” she wrote.
In a statement released on Saturday night, the 49ers confirmed the incident, stating that Pearsall sustained a bullet wound to his chest but is in serious yet stable condition. They also requested privacy for Pearsall and his family during this time.
