Corgi Siblings Battle for Blanket: This Week’s Adorable Pet Champion!

This week, we marveled at the growth of a St. Bernard puppy over just three months and rallied behind a pup aspiring to be a “bark ranger” at our National Parks.

In addition to heartwarming highlights from the pet universe, we’ve gathered some of your best pet photos and videos for this week’s Pet of the Week showcase.

If you’d like your furry friend featured next week, check out the submission details at the end!

Winners

Ollie and Gracie
Ann Graham

Meet our Pet of the Week champions: Ollie and Gracie, two charming corgi siblings with an adorable sibling dynamic. In a delightful video, we watched as they engaged in a playful tug-of-war over a blanket, showcasing their bond despite the little squabbles.

“They truly are best buddies,” Ann shares. “Gracie might be the brainiac, but Ollie is the gentle heart that melts mine.”

Finalists

Aussi the dog

First finalist this week is Aussi, who sadly passed away after a wonderful 15 years together. Whether they were hiking or simply hanging out, Aussi was a constant companion and a true friend.

“My little buddy may be gone, but he’s forever in my heart,” said his devoted owner.

Archie the poodle
Lesley Hunt

Next up is Archie, a miniature poodle who showcased his unique hairstyle after an adventurous encounter with the couch.

Daisy and Zoey
Michelle Fenton

Finally, we have Daisy and Zoey, two loving rescue pups living with their owner, Michelle Fenton. Daisy was found abandoned on a Texas highway and was rescued thanks to a Cattle Dog group after Michelle made the long journey from North Dakota to bring her home.

Not long after, she discovered Zoey—a tiny puppy left on her doorstep. “It was incredible how she found us!” Michelle recalls, happy to have both pups in her life.

Now a year old, Zoey is full of life and cuddles, bringing joy to both her and Daisy. “These two are the best of friends, and I’m so grateful they are in my life!”
