In a TikTok clip shared on September 1 by user @emilygrant946, viewers were introduced to the couple’s cozy campsite complete with a tiny home on wheels and a picnic setup. Although there were dog essentials like a blanket and food bowls nearby, the star of the show was nowhere to be seen.
The video soon revealed that their pup had chosen a different spot: inside the tiny home, lounging on the bed and peering out the windows at the great outdoors he deemed “terrifying.” Clearly, he was avoiding any chance of eye contact with his owners to dodge joining them outside.
When his owners finally coaxed him out, his expression said it all—staying perched on the steps with a serious frown, he seemed to be thinking, “Why am I here?”
The funny TikTok has already racked up an impressive 404,800 views and 56,000 likes. Commenters couldn’t help but chime in, with one noting, “He’s indoor air-conditioned couch dog,” while another remarked on how the pup didn’t even want his paws touching the outside stairs.
