Former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris held competing rallies in Michigan this past Saturday, just days before the November 5 presidential election.
With the battleground state abuzz, supporters gathered to rally behind their candidates. Trump’s event took place in Novi, roughly 40 minutes northwest of Detroit, at the Suburban Collection Showplace. Images circulating online showed a massive crowd surrounding Trump’s podium.
At the same time, Harris addressed her supporters at the Wings Event Center in Kalamazoo, joined by former first lady Michelle Obama. Social media clips revealed a packed venue, with enthusiastic supporters filling the floor space around Harris.
Rally attendance has become a focal point of this campaign, with Harris’ team often ridiculing Trump’s turnout while celebrating their own impressive numbers. In response, Trump has insisted that his rallies attract more attendees, claiming that Harris manipulated crowd images with artificial intelligence to enhance perceived turnout.
He later referred to a photo from Harris’ Detroit rally, alleging, “Kamala CHEATED at the airport… she displayed a huge ‘crowd’ that didn’t exist!” Furthermore, he branded the large crowd at her rally as “fake,” suggesting such actions could amount to election interference.
