This November, while Donald Trump is the only Trump family member on the ballot, there’s already a buzz around his youngest son, Barron Trump, with merchandise popping up for his potential 2044 run.
At Trump’s rallies and through online retailers, items like T-shirts, pins, and notebooks featuring messages such as “Barron 2044” are making waves. Born in 2006, Barron will be eligible to run for president in 2044, with his 35th birthday hitting in 2041.
Many of Trump’s supporters have been spotted sporting apparel adorned with Barron’s face and the tagline “Barron 2044”. You can even find “Barron Trump For President 2044” buttons on eBay and notebooks with the same theme available on Amazon.
Barron, who is Donald’s youngest and only child with Melania Trump, has mostly stayed out of the political limelight. He was just 10 years old when his father won the presidency in 2016.
This year, the Republican National Committee offered Barron a spot as a delegate at their convention in Florida, which coincided with Donald’s nomination. However, Melania’s office indicated that he “regretfully” declined due to other commitments.
Notably, Barron was absent during the recent convention in Milwaukee. His father referenced him during his speech, expressing love for his youngest son by saying, “Barron, we love our Barron.”
Barron recently graduated from Oxbridge Academy in West Palm Beach and is set to start college in the fall, though the specifics of his chosen school remain under wraps. Speculation points towards the University of Pennsylvania, a school attended by his siblings and father.
During a rally in July, Trump shared that Barron was accepted into every college he applied to and praised him as a “very good guy.” The Florida crowd gave Barron a standing ovation upon his introduction.
Though not as visible in the public eye as his siblings, Donald revealed in May that Barron does have an interest in politics and even shares his opinions with his father, which he finds amusing.
Trump’s elder children—Ivanka, Don Jr., and Eric—were deeply involved in his presidency as advisors. However, it remains uncertain if Barron will take on a role in his father’s administration if he wins again in November.
