Former President Donald Trump took the spotlight at the National Faith Summit on Monday in Atlanta, organized by the National Faith Advisory Board.
At the event’s conclusion, a group of Christian leaders gathered around Trump for a prayer session.
“Let’s stretch out our hands towards President Trump and unite our hearts in prayer for him,” suggested Pastor Jack Graham from Prestonwood Baptist Church in Texas.
“We love you, Jesus, and we love our country,” Graham continued. “Thank you for raising up Donald J. Trump as a warrior for your word. We pray for his strength, wisdom, and joy as he embarks on this journey to lead once again.”
Televangelist Paula White, who hosted the summit, expressed gratitude for “our fighter of faith and freedom.”
To wrap up the prayer, the group even broke into the tune of “YMCA.”

During the event, Trump—whose base heavily includes evangelical voters—was asked about the significance of his faith. He commended White for her impressive crowd sizes.
“One of the churches, located in a remote area, has massive attendance every Sunday,” Trump shared, prompting laughter from White.
He went on to criticize the Biden administration, noting, “Our country is facing numerous challenges, including rising anger and unrest.”
Trump also emphasized the importance of Christians, stating they are “the most significant group” and lamented, “They’re being targeted by those who are not kind.”
Trump arrived in Atlanta as both he and Vice President Kamala Harris seek to win independent and undecided voters in crucial battleground states like Georgia.
Later that evening, Trump planned to hold a rally at Georgia Tech, while Harris was set to rally in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania are vital states that Democrats need to secure for election success, forming the so-called “blue wall.”
Last week, Harris campaigned in Georgia with former President Barack Obama, marking his first joint appearance with her on the trail. She capped off her week campaigning in Houston, Texas, where Beyoncé publicly endorsed her and highlighted her support for reproductive rights.
