RFK Jr.’s Sister Reveals Her Disgust Over Trump’s Endorsement

Kerry Kennedy, sister of Robert F. Kennedy Jr., expressed her disgust over her brother’s decision to endorse Donald Trump. She stated on CNN, “If my father were alive today, he would detest almost everything Donald Trump represents.”

She further criticized Trump, highlighting his dishonesty, selfishness, and perceived lack of respect for democracy and human rights. “I’m outraged and disgusted by my brother’s embrace of Donald Trump. I love my brother, but this is an outrage,” she added.

During a press conference, Kennedy Jr. announced he was suspending his presidential campaign to support Trump. He expressed doubts about his own path to victory and stated, “I cannot in good conscience ask my staff… to keep working.” Kennedy Jr. acknowledged their differing views but praised Trump’s ability to unite people around similar values.

In response to his endorsement, Kennedy Jr.’s family issued a statement labeling it a “betrayal,” emphasizing their desire for an America united by hope and freedom, and lamenting the partnership with Trump as “a sad ending to a sad story.”

Jack Schlossberg, grandson of John F. Kennedy, also criticized Kennedy Jr., claiming he was “for sale” and working for Trump. Meanwhile, the two had a history of public clashes during the campaign, with Trump dismissing Kennedy Jr. as “not a serious candidate.”

The political landscape remains charged, especially since Kennedy Jr. previously faced backlash for his controversial views, including conspiracy theories about vaccines. While he has paused his presidential ambitions, he will still appear on ballots in several states.
