Former President Donald Trump is back at it again, taking aim at Vice President Kamala Harris with a peculiar new nickname that’s left many scratching their heads. On his social media platform, Truth Social, he referred to her as “Kamabla” while criticizing the Biden administration’s policies.
Trump posted, “People vote with their STOMACH, and food is now at an all-time high because of Kamabla/Biden INCOMPETENCE… IT WILL ONLY GET WORSE!”
Responses on X (formerly Twitter) varied, with some users finding the name amusing while others were confused about its meaning. User @7Veritas4 labeled Trump a “desperate weirdo,” while @ImNotOwned echoed the confusion surrounding the nickname.
This latest jab follows controversial remarks made by Trump at the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) convention in Chicago, where he questioned Harris’ racial identity, leading to backlash and the resignation of convention co-chair Karen Attiah.
White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre condemned Trump’s remarks as “repulsive,” with Harris herself calling his comments “the same old show” and emphasizing that Americans deserve better than his divisive rhetoric.
At 59, Harris has made history as the first female Vice President and the first Black and South Asian American to hold the office. She proudly embraces her biracial heritage, famously stating in a 2019 interview, “I’m Black, and I’m proud of being Black.”
In his usual style, Trump continued to attack Harris by reiterating claims about her alleged desire to “DEFUND THE POLICE” and ban fracking, stating that such policies would lead to skyrocketing energy costs. In opposition, Harris has clarified her stance on these issues, stressing that the “defund the police” movement seeks to reallocate resources rather than completely eliminate police funding, while also denying Trump’s claims about her position on fracking as an attempt to distract from his own energy policies.
