Big Machine Racing Announces Driver Lineup for 2025 Xfinity Series

Exciting news in NASCAR! Big Machine Racing has revealed that Nick Sanchez will drive the No. 48 car for the Xfinity Series in the 2025 season. At just 23 years old, Sanchez takes the wheel after Parker Kligerman announced it will be his final full-time season.

Currently making waves in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, Sanchez is sitting fourth in the standings with two wins under his belt this season. With playoffs approaching and Bristol ahead, he’s definitely a driver to keep an eye on.

Sanchez isn’t new to the Xfinity Series; he raced in eight events in 2022, six of those with Big Machine Racing. His best performance came at Martinsville, where he finished seventh. Team owner Scott Borchetta has praised Sanchez’s immediate influence:

“In 2022, we put Nick in our car for a handful of races, and he was fast from the start,” he noted via NBC Sports.

Borchetta emphasized Sanchez’s determined approach, especially at Martinsville, where he raced with confidence against top competitors.

The No. 48 will be sponsored by Big Machine Vodka Spiked Coolers and Gainbridge, a Group 1001 subsidiary with ties to Sanchez.

Looking ahead, Borchetta is optimistic about the collaboration between Sanchez, crew chief Patrick Donahue, and the Big Machine Racing Team in 2025.

“He’s done a great job in the Truck Series, and I believe he and Patrick Donahue will make a formidable team,” Borchetta added.

Sanchez can’t hide his excitement, saying, “I couldn’t be more thrilled to join Big Machine Racing with Chevrolet next year in the Xfinity Series! I’m ready to take my driving to the next level and aim for wins and a championship with the #48 car!”
