Danica Patrick is back in the spotlight, and this time it’s for her candid take on transgender athletes in women’s sports.
Her perspective is based on the belief that biological differences, particularly hormonal variations, lead to an uneven playing field. Patrick points out that men typically have testosterone levels that are at least ten times higher than those of women, which she argues significantly enhances muscle mass, size, and strength.
“Having been a girl in a traditionally male sport, I see real hormonal and physiological reasons why men shouldn’t compete in women’s categories. Strength, power, and size differ greatly. Men have at least 10 times the testosterone that women do, which is key for building lean muscle and attaining size and mass. It’s inherently unfair,” she expressed.
Recently, Patrick stirred the pot further by sharing a controversial chart on her Instagram Story, as reported by Outkick.com. The chart humorously depicts a significant rise in testicle injuries in women’s sports since 2020.
Patrick has been quite active, recently moderating events for political figures like JD Vance and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. She has also made headlines for her endorsements, openly supporting former President Donald J. Trump. Regarding her political views, she shared:
“People didn’t appreciate that. They viewed me as a radical right-winger. Sure, ‘MAGA’ carries a negative connotation for many, but it fueled my passion.”
Patrick continued, “I refuse to be silenced for loving my country and wanting to see it thrive. Instead of quieting down, I’m going to speak out even more!”
She attributes her values to her middle-class upbringing, stating, “My parents taught me the importance of hard work, honesty, and dreaming big.”
On her political stance, she noted: “I’m neither fully liberal nor fully conservative; I consider myself somewhere in between. I think our country needs leadership grounded in business acumen and integrity while encouraging free speech.”
Reiterating her love for America, she explained, “Having lived in various places, I realize that, in open conversation, we often find we share more similarities than differences.” Patrick concluded with a reflection on her political engagement, stating, “I’ve mostly chosen to lead by example, but the response to my patriotism has been quite interesting.”
