The WWE Women’s division is thriving, but some fan-favorite wrestlers are notably absent at the moment, including Charlotte Flair, who is healing from knee surgery, and Becky Lynch, who’s enjoying precious time off with her daughter.
Another star missing from the action is Alexa Bliss, who hasn’t been seen since the 2023 Royal Rumble. However, there’s exciting news: Bliss seems poised for a comeback!
Recently, Bliss dropped a mysterious hint about her potential return in a social media post, featuring a striking black and white photo. She wrote, “Don’t worry, Darling. I’ll see you soon enough,” ending with a black heart.
Bliss has taken a break from WWE for over a year and a half due to various reasons, including recovering from skin cancer surgery and celebrating the birth of her daughter with husband Ryan Cabrera.
Fans are eagerly awaiting her return, especially after the recent loss of her close in-ring partner Windham Rotunda (Bray Wyatt) and the emergence of the Wyatt Sick6.
In a previous interview, Bliss expressed that taking time off can be beneficial for an athlete’s career. “Evolving your character during a break is key for longevity in WWE,” she explained. “It allows people the chance to miss you.”
Bliss first joined WWE in 2013 on a developmental contract, making her debut on the July 24 episode of NXT. While she didn’t clinch any titles there, she blossomed into a major star on the main roster, securing five world titles, three WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships, and winning the 2018 Women’s Money in the Bank. She’s also celebrated as the second WWE Women’s Triple Crown champion.
Some of her memorable storylines include teaming up with Nikki Cross, aligning with “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt, and her intriguing connection with the demonic doll, Lilly. Besides wrestling, Bliss has showcased her talents on various shows, including as the Axolotl on The Masked Singer (2019-present).
