WWE is riding high following the blockbuster Bash in Berlin, marking a significant milestone as the highest-grossing arena event in the company’s history.
This success, along with other major international events like Clash at the Castle and Backlash in Puerto Rico, showcases WWE’s robust growth.
However, despite embracing the Triple H era, Vince McMahon’s legacy still casts a long shadow over the organization.
During the post-show press conference for Bash in Berlin, Cody Rhodes fielded questions about his future matchups, performing in Europe, and his current title run.
The discussion took a noticeable turn when a reporter inquired about the upcoming Netflix docuseries on Vince McMahon, which includes allegations of misconduct from former WWE employee Janel Grant.
Specifically, the reporter questioned the locker room’s apparent silence regarding these serious allegations.
“To be honest, I’m caught up in a Game of Thrones re-watch, so I haven’t seen it yet,” Rhodes responded. “There seems to be some confusion—WWE isn’t involved with this documentary, as far as I know, but I’ll probably check it out eventually.”
He added, “Regarding the locker room’s quietness, I don’t think it’s about belief. Everyone’s focus is on delivering great matches and storytelling every night, so we’re learning about these events just like you are.”
Rhodes emphasized that the locker room’s silence isn’t intentional—it’s simply a case of focusing on daily WWE operations.
When pressed for his perspective on Grant’s allegations, he kept it straightforward: “I don’t have enough information to provide an informed opinion. My apologies.”
Notably, the Netflix series titled “Mr. McMahon” reportedly has no ties to WWE or Grant and her representatives.
