The wrestling scene was abuzz following Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s surprise return to WWE at Bad Blood 2024. During the event, Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns triumphed over the new iteration of the Bloodline, aided by a returning Jimmy Uso.
Just as the duo began to celebrate, The Rock made his dramatic entrance, sending fans into a frenzy.

While nothing is confirmed, there are hints suggesting a big showdown could be in the works. WrestleTalk’s live Q&A hinted at the possibility of a Triple Threat match at WrestleMania: “My thought is it signifies that’s where we’re going for WrestleMania,” WrestleVotes shared. “1-2-3 as in Triple Threat match. I think it makes the most sense for the company to get those three guys in the ring.”
However, plans can change quickly—just look at WrestleMania 40’s main event, which saw unexpected shifts. A match featuring Rhodes, Reigns, and The Rock would surely be a standout event, but it’s still just an idea for now.

Cody Rhodes himself seems to think the Bloodline saga might not impact him moving forward. He stated, “I would think that Roman Reigns will step in and handle his own Bloodline business, while I focus on other opponents.” This could suggest a future showdown between Roman and The Rock, allowing Rhodes to engage with other wrestlers like Seth Rollins or Randy Orton.
As it stands, WWE is at an exhilarating juncture. There’s plenty of action without the necessity of the Bloodline dominating the title landscape, and the future post-WrestleMania 41 remains a mystery.
