It’s been a tough ride for Kevin Owens in WWE lately, and that’s putting it mildly.
After attacking WWE Champion Cody Rhodes at the Bad Blood premium live event, Owens found himself suspended from SmackDown, a decision that seems to have pushed him over the edge.
Owens recently turned to social media to express his feelings of betrayal by the company.
“I’ve been with WWE for about 10 years, and I can honestly say things have never felt this rough,” Owens shared. “Being told to stay home and not show up to SmackDown is just plain unfair.”
He went on to reflect on how his situation is different from typical WWE storylines, emphasizing that he was punished for “dropping their little golden boy.”
However, the incident that really cut deep for Owens was his fallout with Randy Orton. “I can’t believe you chose Cody Rhodes over me, Randy,” he lamented, referencing a confrontation on SmackDown where Orton attacked him.
Despite his frustrations regarding WWE, it was the betrayal from Orton that weighed heavily on his mind. “I never would have turned my back on you,” Owens said, voicing his disbelief over Orton’s actions.
In retaliation, Owens attacked Orton backstage, showcasing the heightened tensions between them.
Between WWE’s treatment and Randy’s betrayal, Owens is now questioning his future with the company. Rumors are swirling about the end of his contract, but after a decade of dedication to WWE, it seems unlikely that he would walk away so easily.

Through the highs and lows, Owens continues to be a fan favorite in the wrestling world.
