During AEW Dynamite Grand Slam, MVP surprised fans with an appearance, coinciding with Prince Nana’s update on Swerve Strickland.

MVP praised Strickland’s remarkable talent and impressive title reign, reflecting on how he remained positive despite facing challenges.

“I don’t see any of that as a failure on Swerve,” MVP remarked. “I view it as a management failure.”

He further expressed his desire to connect with Strickland when he’s ready to reclaim his place at the top, sharing, “Please give him my business card. I’m ready to talk… business.”

This opens the door for a potential collaboration between MVP and one of AEW’s top stars while hinting at the possible return of The Hurt Business.

The speculation gained more momentum when MVP replied to a fan on social media about former WWE Champion Bobby Lashley potentially returning with him, stating, “I’m working on something. Follow my flow…”

He also took to Instagram to announce he’s starting an “exciting new chapter” in his career, which he hinted might be his last. “I’m excited because this new chapter may quite possibly be my final chapter,” he shared, teasing fans with something big to come.

MVP has been a fixture in wrestling since 2002, debuting on WWE television in 2006. Over his career, he secured two WWE United States titles and a Tag Team Championship alongside Matt Hardy.

As a manager, he found success with Bobby Lashley in The Hurt Business, alongside Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander. While Alexander remains with WWE, both Lashley and Benjamin are currently free agents, feeding speculation about a potential reunion.
